This 2003 Volkswagen Eurovan, nicknamed "Eurotrash" by JESSE JAMES was built in a co-operative effort by the Yoo-Hoo beverage company and WEST COAST CHOPPERS to drive in the 2003 GUMBALL RALLY (San Francisco to Miami, April 17-22, 2003). It WON the Gumball Car of the Year Award, Best-Looking Car in the Rally Award and is featured in Gumball 3000 The Movie Narrated by Burt Reynolds. In addition to HIS AUTOGRAPH ON THE DASH, JESSE JAMES customized the van and added: 1. 300 hp plus VR6 Supercharger System from VF-Engineering 2. Custom paint and pin striping 3. Super Cup Suspension by H&R Springs The van was driven by JESSE JAMES, X-Sport photographer BO BRIDGES, GUMBALL 3000 Guru LARRY SULLIVAN, pro BMX dirt destroyer CORY "NASTY" NASTAZIO, Moto X madman, TYLER EVANS, snowboarding's big air babe, TARA DAKIDES, and B4BC founder and the 'Godmother of Boarding', TINA BASICH. Purchased by the owner directly from Snapple Beverage Co. on March 28, 2004, and in the 15 years since, the owner has never driven it in the rain, has driven a total of 7,355 miles (mileage to date is 14,033) and it has been stored in a closed garage for 15 years. When purchased the van had a few Gumball 3000 battle scars: The yellow paint on the front bumper had paint chips, the passenger seat had 3 small burn marks and one burn mark on the drivers seat, the passenger side roof had a few 2-3 inch carry bar scratches, and two of the wheels had minor scuffs. (See photos) The van was tuned up and serviced on 4-18-19. Payment is due within 7 days of the close of the auction. Unless otherwise agreed upon, the van must be shipped or picked up within 10 days of end of auction. Communication between both parties is expected within 24 hours. The installation of any aftermarket component (such as the supercharger) potentially impacts a smog check. Owner is not responsible for providing a CA smog certificate.
